Poster Sessions

Poster sessions are an opportunity for effective one-to-one communication and in-depth discussions. These sessions are highly regarded in the speech communication community, as noted in all ASA meetings and in the last ICVPB conference in Salt Lake City. For ICVPB 2016, we will have a dedicated 3-hour poster session on the second day of the conference, wherein more than 70 posters will be exhibited. We will allocate separate times for odd and even poster IDs, to allow for presenting authors in the session to see other posters. Each presenter will be provided with a 2 meter high by 1 meter wide poster panel. Vertical/Portrait format in A0 size is suggested. A0 Size Poster Dimensions: 841mm width x 1189mm height (33.1” width x 46.8” height).

To make a successful poster presentation:

• Put your poster up before the first coffee break in the morning of the second day of the conference.
• Your poster must correspond to the title and content of the abstract you submitted.
• Place your paper title, authors’ names prominently at the top of the poster to allow viewers to identify yo ur paper easily.
• Plan your poster to be in logical sequence, i.e. introduction, methods, data collected, conclusions.
• Posters should be designed for clear viewing from a distance of beyond 1meter, so that they can be viewed by a number of people at the same time.
• To ensure visual effectiveness of your poster, use large lettering and a minimum of text.
• Use of color can visually enhance your poster.
• The poster session will be held in the official language of the conference: English.
• Remove your poster immediately at the close of the poster session.
